Professor
Eastcott said in his speech,” ….It is important that
the community being served by this Centre are fully behind and supportive
of it - I am a great believer in people being responsible for their
actions. I take this opportunity to wish CDI well in this joint
venture with UPNG. I am certain that this will be one of the success
stories in bringing education to the people.”
It is hoped that everyone in the Lake Kutubu area will
take advantage of these new facilities to improve their
education.Through the work of the CDI village skills
trainers, our CODE staff and now those working in the
CDI Study Centre it is hoped that in a few years we
shall see the fruits of these efforts - in the personal
development of people from the Kutubu & Moran districts.
